Lesson 14

Nothing Hidden That Will Not Be Revealed

Section 1 - God Actively Moves Toward Revelation

Lesson 13 established that God is a God of secrets and that He shares them with those who fear Him. This lesson opens the next dimension: God actively moves toward revelation. He is not a God who conceals Himself as a permanent condition. He conceals in order to reveal.

For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. - Luke 8:17

These are the words of Jesus Himself. Not "nothing important." Not "nothing essential." Nothing. There is nothing in the purposes of God, nothing in the mysteries of the Kingdom, nothing in the deep secrets of His heart, that He has not determined to bring to light. The concealment is never final. The hiddenness is always purposeful and always temporary.

Fill in the Blanks

1. God conceals in order to - to those who have been positioned to receive what He discloses.

2. There is a brand of Christianity that has settled for a ceiling of expectation regarding the knowledge of God - using the truth of God's transcendence as a permanent excuse for spiritual shallowness.

3. God is beyond the reach of the , unaided mind - but not beyond the reach of the illuminated by His own revelation. He made it His intention to be .

4. The concealment of God's secrets is never . The hiddenness is always purposeful and always . Everything moves toward revelation.

Section 2 - Joel's Prophecy: A Revelation Outpouring

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. - Joel 2:28-29

5. The outpouring of the Spirit in Joel 2 is not merely a display of spiritual gifts for their own sake. The sons and daughters who prophesy, the old men who dream, the young men who see visions - what are they receiving? The very and of God.

6. The prophetic anointing is, at its core, a anointing - God opening His mouth to speak what He has been holding, pouring through surrendered human vessels the deep things of His plans and purposes.

7. In the end times, God will tear down the wall between the realm and the realm. Those who fear Him, who have prepared themselves through intimacy and humility, are going to receive access to the deepest secrets of His heart.

Section 3 - The Most Misquoted Verse in the New Testament

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. - 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

The Misquotation: Preachers stop at verse 9 and use it as a proof text for the permanent unknowability of God. But Paul doesn't stop there. Without interruption he boldly declares: "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit." To stop at verse 9 and ignore verse 10 is to use Scripture to justify spiritual poverty that God never intended.

Fill in the Blanks

8. The natural mind cannot receive the things of God - that is true. But the of God has been given to the believer precisely so that what the natural mind cannot reach, the can receive.

9. Both statements in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 are simultaneously true: eye has not seen - but God has them to us through His Spirit. To stop at the first and ignore the second is to use Scripture to justify spiritual that God never intended.

10. In these end times, God is simultaneously releasing the greatest measure of that has ever been given - available to a generation prepared through fear of the Lord and intimacy with Him to receive and it.

Section 4 - The Doorway of Humility

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. - Isaiah 55:8-9

11. Isaiah 55:8-9 is not an invitation to give up on understanding God. It is a about the instrument we are using to try. His thoughts are not accessible through reasoning alone.

12. A church built on Madison Avenue principles is not a church built on God's secrets. A ministry that operates entirely within what a sharp natural mind can conceive has placed a on itself at precisely the point where God begins.

13. The doorway into the things of God is - a posture in which the natural mind stops insisting on its right to understand before it submits, and instead first and receives understanding afterward.

14. The equation is consistent throughout Scripture: as we go , He takes us .

Section 5 - Tongues: Speaking the Mysteries of God

For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. - 1 Corinthians 14:2

15. When a believer prays in tongues, they are speaking - the secrets of God - in a language that bypasses the natural mind entirely and operates in the spirit.

16. If tongues were merely an emotional expression with no real content, there would be no reason to oppose it. But if tongues is the vehicle through which the spirit of the believer engages directly with the of God, then its suppression is an act of strategic against revelation.

17. Paul said: "I speak with tongues more than you all" (1 Corinthians 14:18). The man who wrote that also wrote two-thirds of the New Testament - the greatest and revelatory deposit of any figure in the early church. That is not .

18. The he spoke in the spirit became the understanding he walked in and wrote down. Praying in tongues is not an eccentric habit - it is a spiritual with profound consequences for the depth of understanding available to the believer.

Section 6 - Tongues and Interpretation: The Young Warriors Account

⚡ The Young Warriors Conference - 1990

During the first Young Warriors Conference with Dr. Morris Cerullo, miracles were breaking out in the main meeting. Dr. Cerullo stopped and declared that a young girl was being healed in the children's service, calling for someone to go quickly. Seated at the front where it was difficult to move, a simple prayer: "Lord, if You want me to go, have him signal me." But Dr. Cerullo does not signal. He commands.

Minutes later, he looked directly and commanded: "Steve, run to the children. Call out those who are sick. Pray the miracle prayers."

The power of God that came was unlike anything experienced before - an anointing almost overwhelming in its intensity. Running to the children's service with other leaders. Under Dr. Cerullo's instructions, taking over the meeting and calling the sick children forward. Starting to pray with that power on - but not knowing what to do with it.

The senior vice president of the ministry was behind, urgently shouting: "Release it! Release it!" But the how was unknown. The anointing was so strong the children were being shaken when hands were laid on them individually. Then he did something unexpected: he screamed in tongues.

The moment he did, understanding came - not through reasoning, not through instruction, but directly: a knowing that landed in the spirit before it formed in the mind. Hands stretched out over those children: "In the name of Jesus, I take authority over every spirit of sickness and disease… I command every pain to go, and I release the healing power of God now!"

What happened was like fire leaving. The anointing released and moved across sixty-five children simultaneously. Sixty-five were instantaneously and simultaneously healed by the power of God.

That moment was tongues and interpretation in its true, operational form: a mystery spoken in the Spirit, an understanding received, a command given, and the power of God released. The secret of how to release what God had placed was revealed through the instrument of tongues. It was not a technique. It was a door.

Section 7 - Grace, Knowledge, and the Chain of Revelation

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us… - 2 Peter 1:2-3

The AMPC renders this: "May grace… be multiplied to you in the full, personal, precise, and correct knowledge of God." The depth of that knowledge is directly proportional to the measure of grace and peace operating in a believer's life.

21. The depth of knowledge of God is directly to the measure of grace and peace operating in a believer's life. The secrets of God, received through intimacy and fear of the Lord, are the mechanism by which is multiplied.

Section 8 - The Prayer of Ephesians One and the Open Vision

…that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light… - Ephesians 1:17-18 (AMPC)

⚡ The Open Vision on Ephesians 1:17

I was being overwhelmed by the Spirit while focusing on these verses. My roommate came home and I could hardly speak - I was trying to explain what I was perceiving about the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation when suddenly I was in an open vision.

I no longer saw him or the room. I was standing in a vast expanse. I saw these words - "May give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him" - suspended in the air, with the most amazing bluish-white light radiating from the word.

I fell to my knees and started crying: "I see it! I see it!" Then the Lord spoke with a loud voice: "Through My Word you will see Me."

That day changed everything. From that day forward, I ALWAYS pray for the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. And you should cry out for it also.

Fill in the Blanks

23. Paul is not praying for comfort, prosperity, or success. He is praying for a supernatural anointing of - the spirit of wisdom and revelation - into the mysteries and secrets of God.

24. The prayer asks that the eyes of the would be flooded with the light of the knowledge of the glory of God. The purpose is that the believer would know three specific things.

The Three Things the Prayer Reveals

What to Know The Significance
1. The hope of His calling Most believers never understand WHY they were called. The revelation of it cannot be seen until the eyes of the heart are flooded with light.
2. The riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints What God has purchased, prepared, and holds in trust. Once revealed, it belongs to us (Deut. 29:29). The revelation is not the reward - it is what makes the reward receivable.
3. The exceeding greatness of His power toward us The same power that raised Christ from the dead - available to quicken mortal bodies and flow through surrendered vessels. Not reserved for the first century.

25. The revelation is not the . The revelation is what makes the reward . Once it is seen, it can be had.

26. The same power that Christ from the dead is described as being in and for those who believe - available to quicken mortal bodies, to flow through surrendered vessels. The revelation of that power, received by those prepared through fear and intimacy, is what will mark the generation.

Section 9 - Who Will Be Trusted with the Secrets

God does not cast His pearls before those who will trample them. The deep things of God are not distributed indiscriminately. They are given to those who have demonstrated, through sustained fear of the Lord and genuine intimacy with Him, that they will handle what they are given with care and reverence.

27. God is looking for people He can - not people with the largest platforms or most impressive credentials, but people from anywhere, from nowhere if necessary, who are genuinely, desperately for Him.

28. Those who carry the secrets of God will be those who the world. The end-time manifestation of His glory - greater signs, greater wonders, greater miracles - will flow through people who His secrets.

The invitation remains fully open. God is not withholding. He is longing to share - with the heart of a Father who has kept things in trust for those He loves. The qualification is the same as it has always been:

"The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant." - Psalm 25:14
